As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
Some links on KodePath may be affiliate links. If you click one of these links and make a qualifying purchase, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you.
1. What Is Affiliate Marketing?
Affiliate marketing is a type of performance-based marketing in which a website may receive a commission when a visitor purchases a product or completes another qualifying action through a specially tracked referral link.
At KodePath, we may share links to products, tools, equipment, software-related resources, accessories, and other items that we believe may be useful or relevant to our readers. Some of these links may be affiliate links.
When you follow an affiliate link, the destination retailer may use tracking technology to associate your visit or qualifying purchase with our referral. The retailer determines whether the transaction qualifies for a commission under its applicable affiliate program terms.
2. Our Participation in Amazon Associates
KodePath may participate in the Amazon Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program that enables participating websites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to eligible Amazon shopping websites.
When we provide an Amazon affiliate link, we may earn a commission if you follow that link and make a qualifying purchase, subject to the applicable Amazon Associates program terms and conditions.
The commission, if any, is paid to us by Amazon or through the applicable affiliate program. It is not an additional fee charged to you for using our link.
3. Affiliate Tracking ID
Our Amazon Associates tracking ID is: engr11112019-20.
This identifier may be included in qualifying Amazon affiliate links so that eligible referrals can be attributed to our website. Its use does not guarantee that a purchase qualifies for a commission or that any particular commission will be earned.
4. No Additional Cost to You
Using an affiliate link generally does not increase the price you pay for a product. Any applicable product price, delivery charge, tax, discount, and other purchase terms are determined by the retailer and displayed during its shopping and checkout process.
You are welcome to visit a retailer directly and search for a product yourself if you prefer not to use an affiliate link. Your decision to use or not use our links is entirely yours.
5. Product Information, Recommendations and Opinions
We aim to make the information published on KodePath useful, relevant and understandable. Where we discuss or recommend products, our intention is to help visitors discover options that may suit their needs.
An affiliate relationship does not mean that every product mentioned on our website is sponsored, supplied, tested or endorsed by Amazon. Product mentions may be editorial, informational, comparative or promotional in nature.
Descriptions, specifications, availability, customer ratings, prices and other product details can change. Please check the retailer's current product listing and terms before making a purchasing decision.
Unless we explicitly state otherwise, you should not assume that we have personally tested every product mentioned on this website.
6. Prices, Availability and Purchases
Retailers control their own products, prices, discounts, stock availability, delivery options, warranties, returns and order fulfilment. Information displayed on KodePath may not always reflect the latest information available on a retailer's website.
Always verify the final price, product specifications, seller information, delivery costs and return conditions on the destination website before placing an order.
Any purchase you make through a third-party retailer is subject to that retailer's applicable terms and policies.
7. Third-Party Websites and Responsibility
Our website may link to Amazon and other external websites. These websites are operated independently of KodePath and may have their own privacy policies, terms of use, security practices and customer service procedures.
Once you leave KodePath, we do not control the content, operation, product listings, transaction processing or policies of those external websites. Please review their terms and privacy notices before sharing personal information or completing a transaction.
Questions about an order, payment, shipping, cancellation, refund, warranty or product return should be directed to the relevant retailer or seller.
8. No Guarantee of Earnings or Results
Affiliate commissions are not guaranteed. A visitor clicking a link does not necessarily generate a commission, and a purchase may not qualify under the applicable program rules.
Our participation in affiliate marketing does not guarantee any particular product outcome, financial result, level of performance or suitability for your individual circumstances. You are responsible for evaluating products and deciding whether they meet your needs.
9. Transparency and Affiliate Link Identification
We believe visitors should understand when a link may generate compensation for our website. Where appropriate, affiliate links or related recommendations may be identified with clear labels such as "Affiliate link", "Ad" or "We may earn a commission".
Where we use affiliate links, we aim to place disclosures close to the relevant recommendation or link so visitors can make informed decisions before clicking.
10. Privacy and Tracking
When you click an affiliate link, the destination retailer or its service providers may use cookies or other tracking technologies to attribute referrals and operate their services, subject to their applicable policies and settings.
The handling of information on a third-party website is governed by that website's privacy practices. Please review the relevant retailer's privacy notice for details about its data collection, use and choices available to you.
